Indirect cooling system

Indirect cooling system

Table coolers can be placed remotely and therefore do not need to be placed in the cramped engine room. De Korne coordinates the primary and secondary circuits, advises on pipework diameters and supplies all the necessary components.
Primary circuit; expansion tanks, plate heat exchangers
Secondary circuit; diaphragm pressure expansion vessel, pump, table cooler

Engine with air/air circuit in the basement?
We ensure that remote cooling is possible!
Due to noise and vibrations, diesel generators are often placed in the basement. But… cooling an engine with an air/air circuit remotely is quite a challenge.

The solution? A Remote Cooling Kit from De Korne.

  • Heat exchanger HT circuit
  • Expansion tank HT circuit
  • Watercooled charge air cooler
  • Pump set
  • Primary circuit pipework

We design, produce and install complete indirect cooling systems:

  • Remote cooling kit
  • Dry cooler
  • Diaphragm pressure expansion vessel
  • Secondary pipework

Everything is perfectly coordinated so that the heat is efficiently dissipated to another location, on top of the building.

Required to make a good offer:

  1. engine data sheet
  2. height difference between engine & table cooler & piping route
  3. outside air temperature
  4. noise requirement in ? dB(a) @ ? m
  5. location; on the coast/land application/sandstorms etc.
