Shell & Tube heat exchangers
Our heat exchangers are designed for cooling in installations where air cooling is absent or insufficient. They are also suitable for situations with high air temperatures but available cooling water.
In such cases, a heat exchanger is more efficient and quieter than an air-cooled radiator.
Our heat exchangers are compactly built, quiet, and designed for engines up to 1500 kW.
Many heat exchangers are in stock. A version for marine applications is available.
Heat exchangers are used everywhere: propulsion systems, hydraulic stabilizers, bow thrusters, power packs, winches, deck equipment, generators, compressors, and so on.
New developments include cooling battery packs, inverters, and electric motors.
For replacing an OEM part, heat exchangers have been developed for a number of engines/models.
Water-Cooled Charge Air Cooler (WCAC)
The water-cooled charge air cooler is a compact solution for cooling charge air from the turbocharger (compressed combustion air).
The water-cooled charge air cooler (WCAC) is used in both marine and land applications as an intercooler for diesel engines up to 850 kW.
We mainly use them in remote cooling kits, but they are also common in marine propulsion and fire-fighting pumps.
A standard series has been developed for, for example, Perkins engines with air/air cooling.
These shell& tube solutions are reliable, durable and easy to maintain.
